Freight items such as swimming pools, heaters and other large items refused at the scheduled time of delivery are subject to a re-delivery fee. (Fee varies by location)
When a trucking company attempts to deliver your order but is denied or can’t perform the delivery because of no fault of their own, they will charge a re-delivery fee (The re-delivery charge is a fee that the carrier charges to help them recoup the costs incurred to re-deliver the shipment).
To avoid a re-delivery fee please provide the correct address information and make sure that you are home for the scheduled delivery. If you chose the standard shipping option make sure that you have at least two adults present at the time of delivery to unload the shipment.
If you add lift gate service at checkout, the delivery will come on a special truck with a hydraulic lift. The driver will use the lift to place the pallet on the ground curbside. This will make receiving the shipment easier especially if only one person is home to receive it.
Lift gate service must be added at checkout or before the delivery is scheduled with the trucking company. Lift gate service cannot be added at the time of delivery.
