If your saltwater system is displaying a "Low Salt" or "Inspect Cell" light, there are several possible causes:
- Low Salt Level: Your pool's salt concentration may be too low. We recommend using a digital salt tester to measure the salt level in the center of your swimming pool for the most accurate reading. Make sure the salt concentration is within the manufacturer's recommended range for your system.
- Salt Cell Needs Cleaning: The warning may indicate that your salt cell needs to be inspected or cleaned. Check for calcium buildup or debris, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper cleaning and maintenance.
- Salt Cell Needs Replacement: Over time, salt cells lose their effectiveness and eventually need to be replaced. If your salt level is correct and the cell has been properly cleaned, the warning may indicate that your salt cell has reached the end of its usable life.
