High filter tank pressure is typically caused by dirty or clogged filter media, restricted or kinked return hoses, or partially closed valves. If the pressure is unusually high, turn off the pump and clean the filter tank media. If the inside of the filter tank has been cleaned and the pressure is still high, inspect the system for restrictions.
